How CPMAC Started

CPMAC was started in October 2019 by the FIRST  LEGO® League team #3249, The GyroManiacs, in Clifton Park and Halfmoon, New York, USA. Part of our innovation project was to find a way to make our community a better place. We chose to make it safer for cyclists and pedestrians and the engineering solution we designed was making the sidewalks bigger and the roads a little smaller. But, we soon realized that we shouldn't only have an engineering solution. Part of making a community safer is to advocate. Based off of the "Five E's" -Encouragement, Education, Enforcement, Engineering, and Evaluation- we created a club that advocates for cyclists and pedestrians. Now that we've started, we need YOU to help us advocate to make ALL communities across the country safer for cyclists and pedestrians!
